UNDERSTANDING THE POTENTIAL OF THE LOW-PROFIT LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (L3C) IN ARTS & CULTURE

The L3C (Low-Profit Limited Liability Company) is a hot topic within today's arts community.  L3C and the Arts began as a highly successful symposium presented at Columbia University by producer Michael DiFonzo and has developed into a series of events and online resource materials created to provide artists, commercial producers, general managers, entertainment lawyers, foundations and performing arts administrators from the for profit and non-profit sector with the opportunity to acquire an understanding of the L3C, the unique symbol of a for-profit corporation organized to achieve charitable and socially beneficial results.
